The Woman's Club of Chevy Chase is proud to announce the upcoming 49th Annual Community Art Show and Sale! This 3-day event will include more than 400 pieces of artwork, showcasing the amazing talent of more than 125 artists in our community.
Artwork will be exhibited and judged in 9 categories: Oil, Acrylic, Pastel, Watercolor, Mixed Media, Prints & Drawings, Photography, Smalls, and Other Media (for 2-D works in media such as glass, wood, metal, and paper).
The judge for the show is Glen Kessler, Founder and Director of The Compass Atelier in Rockville, MD. Glen is an internationally collected and awarded artist who has also taught at the university and community level for over 20 years. He has a BFA from MICA and an MFA from New York Academy of Art. Awards will be given in each of the 9 show categories.

The maximium number of entries has been reached and no new entries are being accepted.
Art Patron contributions support scholarships for art students at Montgomery College.
To be a Platinum Patron, donate $100 or more per patron or couple.
To be a Gold Patron, donate $50-$99 per patron.
To be a Silver Patron, donate $25-$49 per patron.

This annual event is free and open to the public and takes place at The Woman's Club of Chevy Chase, located at 7931 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 . The club has ample free parking off Dunlop Street.
The show will be open as follows:
April 4, 1:00 – 5:00 pm
April 5, 11:00 – 5:00 pm
April 6, 11:00 – 5:00 pm
This longstanding show and sale offers artists living within 40 miles of the Woman’s Club an opportunity to display and sell their work. It is well known for featuring talented artists showing quality art in a wide range of styles. The show is open to all local artists and is not juried. All artwork offered for sale is finished, either framed or gallery-wrapped canvas. Purchases can be made by cash, check, or credit card.

A Volunteer Effort:
The show and sale is a 100% volunteer effort by members and friends of the Woman's Club. More than 50 people contribute each year to make the show happen. Thank you to our volunteers!
