We are located on Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase with convenient parking available in the back of the building.
How Many People Can Be Accommodated Inside The Clubhouse?
The Woman’s Club of Chevy Chase can accommodate 200 people seated in the banquet hall. Adjacent to the hall is a library with 2 fireplaces, a large stage, separate vendor access, large warming kitchen, and access to a private outdoor patio. The banquet hall can also be arranged to accommodate both a large dance area near the stage along with banquet tables near the kitchen and people seated nearby. The South Wing can accommodate 50 people seated and is the perfect location for a breakout session from a conference or a smaller gathering. The South Wing also has a large tv and tall windows allowing natural lighting.
How Many People Can Be Accommodated Outside In The Garden?
The garden area can be rented separately and can accommodate 50 people seated on the paved terrace. This private patio is covered and is a convenient serving area close to a warming kitchen inside. The lawn can accommodate up to 150 people seated, on a sloped area facing a trellis and arbor for outdoor ceremonies. Our three fire pits include comfortable bench seating and fire wood.
What Is Included In The Rental Fee?
*Other electronics, including projectors and 2 large screen tv’s, are also available for an additional fee.
Can I Use My Own Vendors?
Yes. We can provide a list of vendors from past events if that would be helpful.
Can We Bring Our Own Alcohol?
Yes. If you plan to sell alcoholic beverages or include alcohol service in a ticket sales’ price, then a permit must be obtained from the Montgomery County Liquor Licenses Board in advance of the event.
Are there other restrictions I should review before renting the Club?

What Is The Price Range For Events?
It is recommended that you contact our Clubhouse Manager for rental fees. Different fees are available during the week and the weekend, for outdoor rentals and the 2 different rooms inside the clubhouse. There is a minimum of a four (4) hour rental fee or an eight (8) hour rental fee for weekends, which does not include the cost of food and beverage during the event, or the cost of set up or clean up. There is a $1000 security deposit required with the signed contract, which is refundable upon no damage to the clubhouse or outdoor area. View current rates

Is Your Clubhouse Wheelchair Accessible?
Yes – there is a wheelchair accessible walkway directly connected to our parking lot, which leads to a level entry into a back door near the garden.
Do you have a floor plan that I can use for planning the event?
Yes, we have two layouts to share: one for the Garden and another for the interior of the Clubhouse.
