To contribute to the well-being of our community by volunteering.  Perhaps you have noticed our efforts at the Montgomery County Thrift Shop, Treasure Trove, Jazz Night, Arts and Craft Sale, and the Art Show

To learn from monthly speakers at the general luncheon such as recent speakers: author James Rosebush, journalist Margaret Talev, Michelle Martz of Lincoln Cottage, Rob Sheer, founder of Comfort Cases, and Deborah F. Rutter, President of The Kennedy Center

To create art and develop skills in watercolors, oils, acrylics and drawing with the Art Section

To develop French-speaking skills with the members of the French Section

To enjoy and learn about a wide range of music from classical to jazz at the Music Sections monthly meetings

To work with the Community Service Committee making heart shaped pillows for breast cancer patients, collecting items for homeless women, helping children in need and other individuals in our community who are facing challenges

To participate in the monthly book discussion with the Literature Section and attend their annual luncheon with authors such as Margit Meissner, a Holocaust survivor

To explore and take day trips with the Heritage Preservation Section members to local places of interest such as the Hillwood Museum Jewelry Exhibition

To play bridge with Beginning Bridge, Marathon Bridge, or TGIF Bridge

To discuss current world events and foreign policy with the International Affairs Section guided by the Foreign Policy Association’s publication Great Decisions

To enjoy the fellowship of women from a variety of backgrounds at the monthly potluck suppers, Kentucky Derby Party, St. Patrick’s Day Party, and Fourth of July fireworks gathering
