Other Donations to Consider

February Donations

February is a busy month for us!  Here is the list of what's happening:

  • A Wider Circle (AWC) has a rack for nice clothes at the club, front hall.  Drop off winter coats, gloves, mittens.  scarves, hats, new socks and winter boots for men, women and children. All are in very high demand. AWC also takes new or gently worn men and women's professional shoes to include loafers, heels, tied shoes, and flats. Please tie shoe laces together, and place pairs of shoes in bags so the shoes don't get separated. Put coats and sweaters on hangars and hang on rack. Place shoes and other winter items in bins provided by the AWC.
  • Heart Shaped Pillows - sew pillows for recovering breast cancer and heart patients at Sibley Hospital.
  • Souper Bowl of Caring - Collect soup for local food pantry - Manna Food, SOME, and Bethesda Cares.
  • ... and Mardi-Bra -- see the month of February above for more details.
